Plans for a new long term lease of our clubhouse facilities at Preston Park in Engadine are currently on public display.

Sutherland Shire Council is proposing a 21 year lease of the property for the Engadine Crusaders Football Club in recognition of the capital investment we are planning to make in upgrades during 2015.

Supporters and members of the  club have been raising funds for more than a decade. The NSW Government has announced a further $27,000 in funding as part of the Community Building Partnership Grants program.

The development will include modern changing room facilities and upgraded toilet facilities.

Club members are being encouraged to show their support for the proposed leasing arrangements which must be finalised before any works at the site can commence.

Sutherland Shire Council has put the lease on public exhibition all Council libraries, the Offices on Eton Street and at the clubhouse at Preston Park and written submissions will be accepted up to 6 January 2015.  Local neighbours have also been notified.

Club members supporting the clubhouse upgrade are encouraged to email Sutherland Shire Council at Make sure to include ‘Preston Park clubhouse lease’ in the email subject line and include a couple of sentences about why finalising the lease and getting upgrade works underway is important to you / your team mates / your children playing at the club.
