After two losses in a row, it was a welcome return to the winners list for us this week, coming away with a 5-0 WIN against Sylvania Heights!!!
Everyone found some space to move out there, and the score could’ve been even more given how many shots on goal we had. Sylvania only had a few chances, but everyone chased back and defended really well, it was a great result for us, and one that we really needed.
Player of the match went to Joshy – he was one of a few who had ran their cross country the day before. When he turned up he looked a bit rusty like the Tin Man from Wizard of Oz…but once the game started he lifted and you could tell how much fun he was having out there. Notable mention also to Hayden who had a VERY quiet day in goals – he would have loved a get up the other end as striker, but we all know we can rely on you Hayden.
