We carried our good work from training last week all the way to game-day, coming away with a 2-nil WIN !!!!
Joshy put one to the back of the net in the 1st half, and then Nathan scored our 2nd after a great cross.
We were all really proud of your performance, you all worked really hard for each other, and made Como work for everything. We hope you heard us cheering you on (and me screaming…). It’s also worth mentioning that i’ve had parents & other coaches come up and congratulate us on how we’re going and how we’re playing. Well done.
Player of the Match went to Haydon – even though he’s given me a few heart attacks as our regular goalie, he is so safe, always knows what to do, and always makes the right decision.
After some tough years, we’re holding down 3rd position – awesome!! Expect a tougher game this weekend against Bangor though. And thanks also to the parents who’ve been helping out with BBQ/Canteen.
